the building is mediaeval and generous-sized.

Staff was understanding and continental breakfast was PLENTIFUL. The king room was budget and fabulous. Relaxed by the pool, it was well-maintained, especially when the weather was wonderful.

Exceptional staff and a savory breakfast including plenty of eggs, hot waffles and cheese. Queen room was reasonably sized, recently refurbished, with luxury bathroom. The private beach was near the hotel. The beach nearby was magnificent and the view was absolutely superb. I loved to spend time in the cozy lobby bar. Great value-to-price ratio, superb service offered.

Good price-quality ratio, considering that everything is perfectly fine. From the lovely friendly staff to the upscale rooms and to the amazing food, not to mention relaxing view. Lots of supplies in the room: good Internet and tea/coffee. The pool bar is stylish, liked this place...

We loved our very nice stay there a lot. Huge room and luxury all around. Impeccably clean place and EFFICIENT service. In addition, free wifi worked fine, and there was private parking outside.

Easy check-in and late check-out, plus the stuff was attractive! There was plenty of options for breakfast, including coffee, hot waffles, eggs and cheese, I liked it. The location was charming, really close to the concert venue and chicago airport and the beach. Great for the money, good choice.

Comfortable bed, great for the money. We had a double room with flat-screen TV, a writing table and an ironing set. Just a 15-minute stroll to the center. We used shuttle too.

Amazing members of the staff. Breakfast was large with plenty of options. We would stay here again if we go to Chicago.
